Plum Puff Pastry Tart

Plum Puff Pastry Tart

Hello everyone, I am happy to finally write and post my first recipe on Jaja Bakes. Plum Puff Pastry Tart is an incredible simple and easy recipe to make with just 4 simple ingredients. The juicy oven-roasted plums are caramelized with cinnamon sugar on top of flaky and airy puff pastry. They are the perfect balance between sweet, tangy, flaky and airy. Just like anything with puff pastry, this recipe is very simple: just peel, slice, assemble and bake. It’s perfect for breakfast or snack with a cup of tea.

I choose plum as fruit of my choice because the taste of the plum fruit ranges from sweet to tart, which brings the whole perfect balance of flavor in this recipe. You can definitely substitute plums with seasonal fruits, such as apples, pears and peaches if you are not a fan of plums.

You just need to thaw a package of puff pastry, cut into half, poke holes in each rectangle. Cut out plum slices on top, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar, and bake at 400 F for 20 minutes. Dust with confectionery and it tastes better topped with honey-whipped cream. Plum Puff Pastry Tart recipe is one of the easiest recipe and I really recommend it for beginner bakers.
